WHAT'S HAPPENING

Mike de Kock / Anthony Delpech

This combination of Trainer jockey landed four winners on a eight race card at Scottsville

MIRAGE DRIVE

MIRAGE DRIVE won on his first time out over 2450m at Turffontein without being hard pressed, by the wide margin 14.75l and his time for the distance would have put him about one length behind the AQUANAUT HANDICAP (Listed) winner 5yold gelding GOLD ON GOLD who won later on in the day.

The many happy owners showed their joy in the post race interview and are confident that they have the best 3yold over ground in the country.

STEPHEN SWANEPOEL

Well done Stephen

ABBOTTSBURY

DAN DE LAGO (AUS) DISAPPOINTS

Despite getting left a few lengths at the start DAN DE LAGO (AUS) should still have had enough class to beat this field.

It’s very disappointing when a near certainty gets beat.

See below when DAN DE LAGO'S (AUS) stable mate EIGHT STREET (AUS) gives KILLARIDGE and REGAL RANSOM 3kgs and a 3.75 beating, surely DAN DE LAGO (AUS) is a few lengths better than EIGHT STREET (AUS)

Quinton Riddle

Hi David,

Firstly well done with the site, brilliant stuff.
I am addicted to it, and as a jockey it is a huge help
selecting the right rides. Every free moment while riding
at track I'm looking up form lines on my phone and comparing how they worked.!

Any one out there willing to Sponsor Quinton?

HOW TO USE FORMGRIDS

Hi David,
Well done with your Formgrids, I have taken the liberty of making a short demo video
for my clients on how to use them.
I have posted this on my site www.profit.co.za as well as on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9PcypFrO-0
so that video searches on google will find it.
Hope you don't mind,
Kind regards
john

FORMGRIDS ADDED FEATURES

Well done to Wolfgang for all the additions to formgrids, we hope you will enjoy the benefits and find your winning bets easier.

Some of the new features include the jockeys names and betting in the results, also when putting the cursor over the distance in the cards or results header it will show all runs over that distance, and when you scroll over the trainers name in the race cards the stable companions will highlight, then all searches are more detailed

More additions are on the cards, and in the words of the late Roy Curling "play well"

RHYS VAN WYK STOPS TRAINING

RHYS VAN WYK has accepted the job as academy master and has given up his short training career,
"I have thought about it long and hard before I agreed, just when things are coming together in my yard this offer has come along, and I had to decide,
I have to be there on the 3rd Jan as the new intake arrives on the 5th, it will be hard to leave some of the nice horses in my care behind, LUBRICATOR was making such good improvement and one or two other younger horses showed promise, but this came along now and I feel I might make a difference as I have so much to give to the youngsters if they are willing to listen,
I can recall when I was small and weak and my dad gave me the chance I needed,
I grew up when jocks like Schoeman, Curling, Turner, Maree and Rhodes were at the top of their game so now I want to pass on my riding knowledge"

RHYS was at the top of his game when he was forced to retire from race riding through an arm injury and is one of the few jockeys worldwide that can be genuinely referred to as a master jockey

How does Formgrids work?

Horses are creatures of habit. Performances can be predicted.

The Formgrids web site has been developed to enable you to do your home work as effortlessly as possible. Remember, this is not a tipping service, but as stated previously, a home work tool.

The more you study, the sooner you can start winning!

Over time you will learn to understand and effectively use Formgrid's unique pattern.

Remember you are used to finding winners from other formatted form guides. It will take a while until you are able to recognise potential winners using Formgrids.

Enquiries or questions?

Please contact David Safi on 083 276 2749, Robert Safi on 073 440 0291 or Paul Rycroft on 072 262 0932 email them at davidsafi@telkomsa.net.
